[Belated] Music Friday: "Say That to Say This"

When I was working Thursday, I listened to all of the Trombone Shorty albums I have.

Here's the opening tune of the same titled album.

Music Friday: "Fanfare" & "Tripped Out Slim"

I can't recall if I've featured any tunes from Trombone Shorty's latest album, Parking Lot Symphony

Here are two instrumentals of his I listened to this morning.

Music Friday: "Laveau Dirge No. 1" & "Here Come the Girls"

I realized Trombone Shorty had a new album out and promptly bought it.

Check out two tunes from the new album.

Music Friday: "Suburbia"

The other week I got my son Trombone Shorty's book appropriately titled Trombone Shorty

I've featured this artist a few years ago, but here's one of my favorite songs of his and his band, Orleans Avenue. It reminds me Fishbone.

This is a live performance at Tipitinas, a place I've been before.

Music Friday: "Suburbia"

I featured this talented fellow and his band in late January

Here's one of my favorite songs off of his first album, Backatown.

I wonder when his next album is coming out.

Music Friday: "One Night Only," "Backatown," "Hurricane Season," & "Where Y'At?"

I've been under the weather lately. It's been about a week of dealing with a cold. I'm tired of it.

So I'm providing some tunes by Trombone Shorty in a futile attempt to get me out of my funk.

Or maybe to get my funk on...
