Music Friday: "Firewood"

So how about a song of melancholy?

It fits my mood.

Music Friday: "Dance Anthem of the 80s" & "Eet"

This week I bought a pair of Saucony Bullet Sneakers, which are essentially Saucony track shoes circa 1985 without the cleats. See below.

So those shoes serve as an uneasy introduction and transition to Regina Spektor's "Dance Anthem of the 80s."

And I'm throwing in another song from her, "Eet."

Music Friday: "Laughing With"

I'm not a religious person although I once was.

I'm an agnostic, but the best way to describe my approach to religious/mythological matters is disorganized spirituality

Still, I really dig this song by Regina Spektor.

Music Friday: "Open," "Patron Saint," & "All the Rowboats"

I ranked Regina Spektor's What We Saw From the Cheap Seats in my Top Ten/Twenty Albums of 2012, but I've never featured her on a Music Friday post.

So here goes.

All of the videos are from The Live Room, which are quality performances.

Enjoy.
