Endorsement by Kerry

When I first read about the rumor that John Kerry is going to endorse Obama, my stomach got queasy and I rolled my eyes.

The Fix's recent post (Mash "The Fix" under "Recommended Links" on this blog) has made me feel better. This endorsement might actually help.

It's all about the emails and ground game, baby.

Maybe this will make Edwards get out sooner

Edwards is the Clinton Administration's new best friend. He's siphoning a substantial portion of the "We don't care for Hillary as the nominee" Democrats away from Obama. If Edwards bows out before Feb. 5, which he said he's in it for the long haul, that will certainly help. But I doubt it'll happen.

The Kerry endorsement is a semi-black eye for Edwards too since Edwards was Kerry's VP. Wow.

Any thoughts on Bloomberg running as an Independent?

I think a lot of people will find Bloomberg "refreshing" b/c he can fund his campaign independently. The strike againstwill be he was a Dem then became a republican, now independent. Talk about an opportunist.

Bloomberg is deluding himself if he thinks he has a chance of winning.

I'm not sure from which party he would steal votes, both sides have reasons to hate him.

Yeah, another rich guy running for President. That's something we've never seen before.

I don't know much about Bloomberg, so does anyone know where he stands on the issues? Or is he like Romney--whichever way the wind blows.
