Sunday Hangover: LSU

Credit needs to be given to the Alabama defense for its work in the red zone. They only gave up one touchdown with LSU moving the ball a lot between the 20s.

I was frustrated throughout the game with the defensive backs playing so soft, but eventually the defensive line started getting pressure.

And of course, the stops on the fourth downs were key to winning the game.

I'm still concerned that the Tide is not running the ball as well as they should. However, LSU was selling out to stop the run.

So Russell relied on his arm and his legs to propel his team to victory.

Apparently, we need to throw to Morgan more often. He's caught two passes this season both for touchdowns.

As has been the case since I became an Alabama fan, Alabama has an outstanding record playing in Baton Rouge.

Instead of thinking about their chances in the playoffs, Alabama needs to take one game at a time.
