ReplyDeleteI enjoy how people like to use it as a way to affirm good news, such as in these situations:
ReplyDeleteDude A: "That girl in Calculus, I finally asked her out."
Dude B: "Roll Tide."
Wife: "The accountant told me we're getting two grand back after taxes."
Husband: "Roll Tide. Let's celebrate."
I could also tell a ribald story about the use of the term by former coach Mike Price, but I won't.
